- Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and cookies designed to keep agent dashboard sessions active.
2. How We Use Information
The data we collect is utilized for the following purposes:
- To provision, maintain, and optimize your Botty.ai chatbot workspace.
- To train your workspace's AI models on the documents, text snippets, and URLs you explicitly upload.
- To send alerts (sound beeps and desktop alerts) when your live agents need to takeover active threads.
- To perform billing, verify users, and improve platform security.
3. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data or your visitors' chat transcripts to outside third parties. Your uploaded training documentation and customer logs are securely protected using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES encryption at rest.
We may share anonymous metadata with LLM providers (e.g. OpenAI) solely for generating conversational chat completions, subject to strict privacy agreements.
4. Your Rights & Choice
You can delete your uploaded training documents, empty chat logs, or terminate your workspace account at any time directly through the Botty.ai control panel. Upon request, all data linked to your workspace will be permanently wiped from our live database instances.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
